I went to him during an emergency when one of my veneers that was done by a Beverly Hills dentist fell off. That was a very problematic tooth since the very beginning and its veneer always fell off. I had driven many times to my  Beverly Hills dentist to glue it back on.  But after 5 years of fixing it for me for free, my Beverly Hills dentist no longer wanted to do it for free and was starting to charge me.  I was so sick of that veneer and there was no way I wanted to drive a long way to Berverly Hills to pay big bucks to fix it, particularly when it fell off in the evening.  I went to Dr. Lam the next day and he gave me a permanent fix by putting a beautiful crown on that tooth.  He did a great job on the crown because there was no discomfort and no bite problem.  I could tell he was very skilled because the crown fit perfectly with no bite problem only after one quick adjustment after he put it on.  I had experienced with crowns that needed numerous  adjustments, even return visits  to adjust the bites.  Dr. Lam was very knowledgeable and he explained to me why my veneer kept falling off.  His crown permanently fixed my tortuous problems from that tooth which had been stressing me out for years due to the frequent fall of the veneer. That veneer just wouldn't stick.  He charged me $1200 cash since I didn't have dental insurance.  It's been 10 years now and I never had a problem with that tooth ever since.  I'm writing this because I haven't gone to a dentist so long that I almost forgot about him.  I had bad eperience with certain dentists.  Some of them have good reviews on Yelp which I don't understand how. I want to write my experience with Dr. Lam  as a reference for myself so I can easily find his contact when I have another dental emergency.

Dr. Lam received his Doctor of Dentistry from the prestigious University of Southern California. After graduating from U.S.C., he continues to advance his dental training and knowledge by completing Continuing Education courses in the fields of periodontium (gum specialist), endodontic (root canals specialist) and orthodontic (braces specialist) via POS seminars and U.C.L.A. Dr. Lam is also certified as a ZOOM!®Chairside Whitening System Provider. Recently, he completed a residency in Bone Biology, Harvesting and Grafting from New York University and joined International Congress of Oral Implantologists as a fellow. Dr. Lam believes that his role in providing excellent dental care starts with education and awareness. Optimal care can only be achieved with the collaboration of patients.
