The Coronavirus: It's Not All Gloom & Doom


So, scientists all over the world are working on a vaccine at an unprecedented speed in the history of vaccine development.  I'm so glad to hear that.  In the meantime, I'm avoidinig going near potential virus carriers by postponing  my regular checkups at my doctors and dentists until later.

Today I went to a cafe to get lunch for take out.  May be it's a sunday so the cafe was a lot more crowded than usual.  There were a lot of people standing around waiting to order or waiting for their spouses or family to order.  I personally had never seen a crowd standing in front of the cashier before.  As a caregiver, my mind is always occupied and I often am not mindful at the present as I need to be. Today is just one of those moments when I walked into the cafe, seeing such a big crowd that I had never seen before.  I had no idea where the line ended and I just stood at a spot that I thought was the end of a supposedly queue, waiting.  Suddenly I noticed a guy moved up to my left and he murmured something about the end of a line. An Update On The Coronavirus Outbreak

The number changes so quickly even the news outlets on Youtube seem to have a hard time catching up with the latest.  I'm worried of course because there are 2 cases cofirmed in a matter of 2 days where I live.  I've been following this since day one when my friend in Hong Kong started gossiping about this on social media back in November 2019.  I brushed her off back then and told her she followed too much fake news. I just didn't expect it was real and it would get here this fast because it was just last Wednesday that I went to the drug store to buy masks to ship "Express" to my friend in HK when she told me she and her family couldn't find any mask in HK....I went to my local drugstore, emptied the shelf of masks (all made in China), to ship  to Hong Kong. What an irony when Hong Kong is a city of China, and now I can't find masks to buy for myself because everywhere is so far telling me they are pending for re-stocking. Now as I watched China&#

  Dr. Gary Lam DDS Dentist Skilled Torrance dentist I went to him during an emergency when one of my veneers that was done by a Beverly Hills dentist fell off. That was a very problematic tooth since the very beginning and its veneer always fell off. I had driven many times to my  Beverly Hills dentist to glue it back on.  But after 5 years of fixing it for me for free, my Beverly Hills dentist no longer wanted to do it for free and was starting to charge me.  I was so sick of that veneer and there was no way I wanted to drive a long way to Berverly Hills to pay big bucks to fix it, particularly when it fell off in the evening.  I went to Dr. Lam the next day and he gave me a permanent fix by putting a beautiful crown on that tooth.  He did a great job on the crown because there was no discomfort and no bite problem.  I could tell he was very skilled because the crown fit perfectly with no bite problem only after one quick adjustment after he put it on.  I had experienced with crowns t
